Canada has expanded its visa-free travel options by adding 13 additional countries to the electronic travel authorisation (eTA) program. This initiative offers an efficient alternative to traditional visitor visas through a simple online application process.
Canada’s Electronic Travel Authorisation (eTA) allows eligible travellers to visit Canada for tourism or business for up to 6 months per visit.
To be eligible for this eTA, travellers from visa-exempt countries and British overseas territories must apply if they are arriving in Canada.
EU passport holders, along with citizens of Iceland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Norway, Switzerland, Vatican City State, and the UK, are eligible for the eTA.
