Canada eTA for US/Canada Visa Holders
The Canada eTA is an electronic travel authorisation for eligible travellers flying to Canada. Applicants from certain nationalities may also qualify for the same Canada eTA if they previously held a Canadian visitor visa within the last 10 years or currently hold a valid US non-immigrant visa.

Two Ways to Qualify for a Canada eTA
The applicant only needs to meet ONE of the following conditions.
Previous Canadian Visitor Visa
You may qualify if:
- You held a Canadian visitor visa (temporary resident visa) issued within the last 10 years.
- The visa does not need to be valid at the time of application.
Valid US Non-Immigrant Visa
You may qualify if:
- You currently hold a valid US non-immigrant visa.
- The visa must be valid on the date you submit your Canada eTA application.

Canada eTA Validity and Stay Conditions
- Entry Type: Multiple Entries
- Validity Period: Valid for up to 5 years from the date of issue or until the passport expires, whichever comes first.
- Duration of Stay: Allows a stay of up to 6 months from the date of arrival.
Canada eTA Fee and Processing Time
The applicant is required to select a processing option depending on how soon they need their eTA approval.
- Standard Processing: 1-6 Working Days. No additional fee charged
- Rush Processing: 1- 3 Working Days. Additional fee charged
- Super Rush Processing: 24 Hours. Higher additional fee charged
