Canada eTA Application
To obtain a Canada eTA, the applicant is required to submit the Canada eTA application form. The application process is easy and completed under the guidance of visa professionals.
Begin Your Canada eTA ApplicationStep 1: Registration
Applicants are required to register themselves by providing contact and travel information. Registration is necessary to create a profile and begin the Canada eTA application process.
Applicants should provide correct contact details, as all updates and approvals will be sent to the registered email address and phone number.
Step 2: Complete the eTA Application Form
Once the registration step is complete, the main application form becomes available for applicants to continue. Fill in the following details:
- Your Nationality
- Full name as per passport
- Passport number and passport expiry date
- Complete residential address
- Preferred language for communication
- Marital status and occupation details
Additional details based on nationality:
Depending on your selected nationality, the form may ask whether you hold:
- Have held a Canadian temporary visitor visa within the past 10 years, or
- Currently holds a valid U.S. non-immigrant visa that is valid at the time of application.
If you select the valid U.S. non-immigrant visa option, the form will ask you to provide the visa type, visa number, issue date and expiry date.
This requirement applies to certain nationalities only. Review the Canada eTA Policy to confirm whether this applies to you.
Step 3: Add Applicant (Optional)
Use the ADD APPLICANT option to include additional travellers in the same application session.
Each added applicant is processed as a separate Canada eTA application. They must provide their own personal and travel information.
This keeps all applicant updates in one place and reduces the need for separate form submissions.
Step 4: Processing Speed Selection
The application form offers 3 processing options to the applicant to select from:
Standard Processing
- 1-6 Working Days
- For non-urgent travel plans
- No additional fee charged
Rush Processing
- 1- 3 Working Days
- For urgent travel plans
- Additional fee charged
Super-Rush Processing
- 24 Hours
- For immediate travel plans
- Additional fee charged
Step 5: Verify and Confirm Your Details
Review the Canada eTA application form carefully before submission. Applicants can choose 'Save & Exit’ to complete the application later or ‘Submit & Preview’ to review the entered details.
- Save & Exit: Saves your progress. Resume later using your temporary order ID.
- Submit & Preview: Lets you preview all details before final submission.
Correct any errors before proceeding.
Step 6: Upload the Required Documents
The document that the applicant is required to upload for the Canada eTA application is a scanned copy of the passport bio page; no other document is required.

Step 7: Pay the eTA Fee
Complete your payment to finalise the application.
Accepted payment methods:
- A credit or debit card
- PayPal
- Bank transfer, if requested by the applicant
The complete Canada eTA fee amount also depends on the processing speed you selected in Step 4.
Your application is now submitted.
You will receive a confirmation and regular status updates at your registered email address.
Keep your order ID on hand; you can use it to track your application status at any time on the application portal.
Once approved, the Canada eTA will be delivered to your registered email address. Carry your passport and a printed copy of your approved eTA when you travel. If you submitted details from a supporting document in your application, carry that too.
