The Canada Transit eTA allows eligible travellers to pass through a Canadian airport to another country. It applies only to air travel and must be obtained before boarding your connecting flight to Canada.

Category A: Standard eTA Nationals
Must provide a clear scan of the passport biopage.
Category B: Conditionally Eligible Nationals
Along with a passport bio-page, citizens of category B need to hold and provide details from any one of the following:

Apply for a Canada Transit eTA
Step 1
Fill out the Canada eTA for transit application form with accurate travel details.
Step 2
Review the details carefully and upload clear scans of all required documents.
Step 3
Pay the processing fee by credit/debit card or cryptocurrency, then submit the form.
Step 4
Once processed, the approved Canada eTA for transit will be sent by email.
