Applicants from certain nationalities must meet ONE of the following requirements.
If You Previously Held a Canadian Visitor Visa
- Canadian temporary visitor visa issued within the past 10 years
- Confirm in the application that you previously held an eligible Canadian visitor visa
- No scanned copy or visa details are required
If You Hold a Valid U.S. Non-Immigrant Visa
- Valid U.S. non-immigrant visa (must be valid on the date of application)
- Provide:
- U.S. visa number
- U.S. visa expiry date
- No scanned copy of the U.S. visa is required

Canada eTA Validity and Stay Duration
Validity: 5 years or until your passport expires, whichever comes first
Number of Entries Allowed: Multiple
Stay Duration: 6 months per visit
